John Kørner expresses himself in sculptures, ceramics and installations, but is best known for his paintings, in which yellow and purple have almost become his hallmark. His work is problem-oriented. He deliberately creates a "problem": in other words, something, which disturbs both unity and harmony. The intention is to create space for discussion, reflection and creativity. John Kørner is one of the ten Danish contemporary artists, who decorated the new home of the Crown Prince couple at Amalienborg.
