Kunsten Summer Lounge feat. Katinka

Join our community, the great atmosphere in the park and the sound of critically acclaimed Katinka, who have just released their debut album, Vi er ikke kønne nok til at danse. Katinka won a Steppeulv award earlier in the year as “Årets Håb” (“Hope of the Year”), and we are also preparing for an incredible musical experience, which will include things like organic instruments.

In Kunsten’s Summer Lounge a new DJ, musician or artist will be providing entertainment every week.

Food trucks will roll into the park and whip up your favourite dishes. In our outdoor Kunst-Lab, different artists will introduce you to materials and tasks and invite you to create something unique.

An entirely new combination of music, food and workshop. Lanterns and torches will light up the park. And the bar will be open. Need we say more!

Take your friends or family with you, recline on your blanket or on our lounge furniture and tune into one of the best Danish summer evenings in Aalborg’s best surroundings.

Come rain or shine - Kunsten Summer Lounge will be held in both blazing sunshine and pouring rain. If it rains, the event will be moved under cover.  

Practical information

• Access to the park is free when the price of admission to museum is paid. The event is free for members of Klub Utzon + Utzon.
• We ask that our guests support our café and food trucks, which is why guests are not allowed to bring their own food and drink to the events.
• DJ and food trucks from 16.00.
• Kunst-Lab from 17.00-20.00 
• Concert starts app. 19.30
