Under the surface

The students from the Danish Efterskole, Østhimmerlands Ungdomsskoles art class have made their own artworks inspired by the current exhibition Overload by Maria Nordin at Kunsten.
 
The works are free interpretations of Maria Nordin’s artistic universe, with some students starting from the delicate properties of watercolor, some in Nordin’s motifs, and others in her themes.
 
All in all, the exhibition Under the surface results in a series of experimental portraits and inner landscapes, where the students examine their own styles and expressions.
 
What is hidden behind the fabric? Behind the human body? Under the surface?
