She had an exceptional talent for capturing the essence of the moment. Discover one of the greatest street photographers of the 20th century.
For more than four decades, while working as a nanny, Vivian Maier (1926-2009) photographed people on the streets of the United States.
Her photographs were not discovered and published until after her death. Today, Maier is regarded as a major figure in the world of 20th-century street photography.
The exhibition will present 150 of Maier’s works, shot mainly in New York and Chicago during the 1950s-1970s, accompanied by a selection of short films created in collaboration with Anne Morin – one of the leading experts on Maier’s work.
