Performance Lecture with Alexandra Hunts and Charles Marcus
The Ukrainian/Dutch Artist Alexandra Hunts has created a totalinstallation in close interaction with the artwork Eleven Less One by Michelangelo Pistoletto, Inside this installation, Hunts and professor in quantum physics Charles Marcus will invite the audience to take part in a journey that will touch upon the topics of Russian cosmism, radiation, immortality, mirrored life, symmetry, the forward march of time, and reality versus representation. In a staged conversation, the gaze of the artist and the physicist interacts and playfully confronts each other. Just like the reflecting mirrors in Pistoletto's installation, the two perspectives, that of the artist and that of the scientist, will shift between creating parallel worlds and complementing each other. The audience will be immersed into this bombardment of moving images and dialogue in a tour de force that touches upon questions of universal and contemporary importance.
