Join us in a celebration of the most stunning art museum in Denmark. There’s free admission for everyone, free birthday cake, creative activities, posters for sale in the shop and bubbly on the house for visitors eating in the Brasserie.
To attend Kunsten’s birthday party, you need to book a free ticket. Fill in the form below to book a ticket, which is valid for the entire day. By booking your free ticket you will also be subscribing to our newsletter – and entering the competition for beautiful art posters and season tickets for Klub Kunsten + Utzon.
Kunsten’s birthday party is for people of all ages, and for seasoned museumgoers or curious first-timers. If this is your first visit to Kunsten, we promise to take extra good care of you!
During the day, you can visit our creative workshop Kunst-Lab, enjoy a guided tour of the exhibitions led by Kunsten staff, watch documentary films in the auditorium and travel back in time, or drop by the poster sale in the shop.
The chamber choir of Aalborg Cathedral School and talented young musicians from Aalborg Culture School will also be popping in to provide some festive musical entertainment. The day’s programme will be updated on an on-going basis.
Enter a birthday competition to win a poster of your own choosing from the shop or a season ticket for Klub Kunsten + Utzon. When booking your ticket or checking in with your season ticket, you will automatically be entered.
In addition to an abundance of cake, Brasserie Kunsten will also make sure all diners receive a glass of bubbly to accompany their meal. We’re expecting a lot of visitors, so we strongly recommend booking a table. Remember that season-ticket holders get 10% off in the Brasserie.
Butik Kunsten is offering a generous DKK 50 discount on a wide range of their popular posters. The offer is only valid on the day and only in the shop itself. But you can visit the webshop to view part of the large selection. You cannot combine this offer with other discounts: for example, the 10% discount given to season-ticket holders.
