Experience one of the most distinctive jazz voices in the Nordic region when Nana Rashid visits Kunsten for Winterjazz 2026.
With her characteristic tone and unique presence, Nana moves within the tension between the spiritual and the deeply human. Her music revolves around themes of faith, doubt, identity, and existence – creating an intimate space where the audience is invited to listen, feel, and simply be.
Following her critically acclaimed breakthrough with the debut album Music for Betty (2023) and the award for New Jazz Artist of the Year at DMA Jazz, Nana now opens a new chapter with The Trio Tour. Together with two musicians from her artistic circle, she explores what happens when music is allowed to live freely – without fixed frameworks or safety nets.
The concert will be a living laboratory for intuition, courage, and spontaneity. And in the elegant setting of Kunsten – surrounded by contemporary art and Altos marble – the performance gains an extra dimension.
Look forward to a sensual and intimate evening where jazz, art, and architecture merge into one.
