An old book from a thrift shop, dried flower petals, and old wrapping paper. Everything finds new purpose when you use it to create beautiful and unique sheets of recycled paper.
In this workshop, under the expert guidance of our in‑house artist, you will transform raw materials into fine, original paper sheets.
Dive into the process of papermaking, let yourself be inspired by the art around us, and make it your own. We will play with the paper’s texture, decoration, coloring, and whatever spontaneous ideas arise along the way, all while you gain insight into the craft.
Afterwards, you will of course take your paper creations home with you. Perhaps they’ll become part of an art project, personal cards and letters— or small, standalone artworks for the gallery wall in your living room.
In the artistic workshops, we get hands‑on with the materials. You will be guided and supported by a trained artist, and together we explore and experiment—curious about what we can create with a technique or a material. Because we experiment, you can join no matter your starting point or level of experience.
Your ticket includes high‑quality materials and expert guidance from our in‑house artist. Since we never quite know what we’ll end up with in our hands, remember to leave your finest clothes at home.
You are welcome to buy drinks or snacks in the Brasserie and enjoy them in the workshop while we experiment.

- Your regular ticket or student ticket gives you access to the museum from 10am. We recommend arriving early so you can explore our exhibitions.
- With a membership, you have free admission to the museum all year round and get the lowest price on event tickets — in many cases this applies to both the pass holder and a guest.
